I have donated 8 of my pieces for the Silent Auction at the 4th annual Chics of the Sea Fundraiser on Aug 12th.  The survival of our local shrimping industry is threatened more and more each year - they need our help!  Less available (and more expensive) commercial dock space, environmental/seasonal challenges, rising insurance and equipment costs, natural disasters, and competition from cheaper (and inferior, even toxic) imported shrimp all take their toll.

I will be bringing Bella Bijoux Charleston to Connecticut again, in May, for Ladies Night at Black Rock Yacht Club.  Had a great time as a vendor there last November and always love revisiting the special place where I spent 10yrs as a member and served as Board member/flag officer and ultimately, the Club’s first female Commodore.
